What items cost extra with rubbish removal?
Mattresses, tyres, e-waste and chemicals carry per-item disposal fees at most transfer stations, and removalists pass those straight through on top of the volume price. Access matters too: a long carry from a back yard to the truck adds labour time. The base bands are $50 to $150 per cubic metre with a typical house clean-up load at $200 to $600. Tip: list awkward items when you request the quote so the price you are given is the price you pay on the day.
