WhatCosts publishes what Australian home and business services actually cost. Every range is compiled from published price guides, provider price lists and regulator fee schedules, and the sources are cited at the bottom of every guide.

We do not invent averages and we do not accept payment to change a published range. Where a city has no published data that meets our sourcing bar, we say so instead of making numbers up.

WhatCosts is part of the NearMe network. When you request quotes through this site, providers or advertisers may pay us for the introduction. That never changes the ranges we publish.
