Is rubbish removal cheaper than hiring a skip bin?

If you can load a bin yourself over a few days, skip hire usually wins per cubic metre. If you want the pile gone in one visit with zero lifting, hand-loaded removal at $50 to $150 per cubic metre, or $200 to $600 for a standard house clean-up load, is the better tool: labour and disposal are included. Larger jobs scale to $500 to $700 for a 5-tonne truck and $700 to $1,000 for a 10-tonne. Tip: separate green waste first; it is the cheapest stream to dispose of either way.
